Cannabinoids and Spanish rules

Names, control schedules and the scope of sources: dated legal context for reading entries without confusing a molecule with an authorised product.

The schedule and its date

Spain added HHC, HHC-O, HHCP, HHCP-O, delta-8-THCP, delta-9-THCP, THCP-O, THC-O, two C8 homologues, H4-CBD and THCA to Schedule II through Order SND/380/2025. Source consulted on 2 November 2026. Official BOE text.

What a list cannot settle

A name’s absence from that text does not show that every product using it is authorised. This page does not provide an individual legal verdict. Where an entry cites another country, that scope remains: a US indication or European report does not become Spanish authorisation.

Before interpreting a commercial claim, identify the exact substance, declared composition, intended product use, territory and date of the rule invoked. If any of those details are missing, the conclusion must remain open.
